TenantOne — PG and rental manager
An offline-first Android app for PG and rental owners: rooms, tenants, electricity readings, itemised bills and WhatsApp billing.
What it is
A property owner tracks locations, buildings and rooms, records each tenant with a photo and ID proof, enters the month’s meter reading, and the app produces an itemised bill — previous balance, rent, electricity units, extra-person charge and other costs — which goes to the tenant as a WhatsApp message or SMS.
How it is built
Flutter with Riverpod, SQLite on the device, and an optional backup into the owner’s own Google Drive using a private app-data folder. There is no server in the middle: the data never reaches us. Reinstall the app, sign in with the same Google account, and everything comes back.
Why it matters for your project
Offline-first apps are harder than they look — carry-forward balances, replaced meters, and restoring cleanly onto a new phone. The billing rules are covered by an automated test suite. Demo APK available on request.
